password key reset
I have an XPS 17 (L701x) laptop and I have locked my password after three attempts. My password was with CAPS LOCK ON and I was in a rush thinking I had caps lock on but it wasn't so I have been locked out. I haven't done a password re-set key as I didn't know about that. Can anyone help please?

It is a windows logon password and yes I have tried it with caps lock on and off. Is there no other way to get around this apart from going back to factory settings?

Don't worry I have sorted it out - been putting in the wrong password. However it has taught me a lesson - I will get a password reset key done.
