Patch on desktop icon - Inspiron 1420
I purchased a Dell Inspiron 1420 recently. The OS is vista premium. Earlier today, I was using an application and after i close it, most of the icons on my desktop a have black patch on it (See picture below). I've tried logging off, turn off and restart the notebook for a couple of times but no avail. I am not sure what is the problem =(. Does anyone knows what is the problem and what should i do? Please help me. Thanks!

Change your font size to 120 dpi and reboot the computer.
Now you will be able to see you icons but the size will be bigger.
Again change the font size to 96 dpi and reboot you computer again.
Now every thing should be fine :-)"
