PCMSERVICE.EXE APPLICATION ERROR

Question

I have been getting these errors several hours into my daily Windows session:PCMSERVICE.EXE APPLICATION ERROR the instruction at 0x004023cc referenced at 0x00133004 The memory could not be 'read' Click on OK to terminate or click cancel to debug the program. Terminating the process does not seem to cause any instabilities. What does this service do? I do not find it in 'services' under Administrative Tools but it is referenced in msconfig startup services. I searched this forum and found that there are quite a few problems with this service but not the exact error that I am getting.. Any suggestions or help will be very appreciated. Thank you.

http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/pcmservice.exe.html   I would take it out of startup in msconfig.
