PCMService.EXE Application error

I have a Inspiron 9400 with WinXP latest patched have been applied.

For the last two days I've gotten the following dialog box on my screen in the morning.

CL RC Engine3 Dummy Winidow:
PCMService.EXE - Application Error
The instruction at "0x00402545" referenced
memory at 0x00000008.  The memory
could not be read.

I read somewhere that PCMService.EXE is a Dell provided program.

I suspect maybe there is some foul play here because of the spelling of window with the extra i (not my typo).  I have not been able to find any reference to this message on the most popular anti-virus web sites.  I've run scans with my "PC-cillin Internet Security 12" and found no threats other than cookies "House Call" was able to detect 1 grayware infection.

Please let me know if I need to be concerned that my PC has been compromised.

It's from Dell Media Experience and I wouldn't worry about the misspelling since you have run the scans. I've seen errors like that before. Don't run any of the links you will find here--they are trying to sell you something, but here's some info: http://www.file.net/process/pcmservice.exe.html
