First check in your network connections to make sure your Local Area Connection is enabled.

Also check in your device manager to make sure there are no problems with your network adapter.

Keep me posted.

Start - Run - type "cmd", and press Enter.

Now when you type "ipconfig", what message is displayed?

Is your wireless listed in Network Connections?

Hmmm..... Something isn't right.

Check your system32 folder and see if ipconfig.exe is there.

It could be a PATH problem. If ipconfig.exe is in your system32 folder, What happens if you navigate (in command prompt) to the system32 folder and then type "ipconfig"?

Also, in command prompt, type "PATH" [without the quotes] and post your results here.

In the command prompt window:

C:\Windows\System32>

Type ipconfig when at the destination above. Does it work?
