As mentioned by fireberd multiple posting can cause confusion :emotion-40:
Assuming it’s Windows XP & you haven’t deleted the Dell PC Restore image partition?
The DRMK (Dell Real Mode Kernel) hang problem is a MS-DOS type boot execution failure, normally caused by entry error(s) in the partition table of PBR (Partition Boot Record) descriptor 1
Meaning the system can’t boot load to that partition, normally a partition that contains Dell Utility or the PC Restore (DSR) Utility (normally PBR 3)
Options are:
1. Fix partition table entries as described by Dan Goodell(tech heavy for some) :emotion-15:
2. Windows XP Clean install (as described in link provided by fireberd – in the other Forum)
If Dell PC Restore image partition is still there, leave it alone & only format the XP partition
You can then, if inclined to do so, try & fix partition table entries when time permits
