Hi, I have an Inspiron 600m. I was wondering if this came with Powerpoint. I don't have it on my computer. Is there a place where I can download it for free?

Powerpoint is not a basic Windows applicaton.  It usually comes bundled with Microsoft Office packages.  You can't download Powerpoint but there used to be a Powerpoint viewer available free from Microsoft.  Go to the MS Office site and see if it's still there.  http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx

Just to add to what fireberd said, if you are looking to create PowerPoint Presentations, then you will need to buy either the stand-alone version of PowerPoint or one of the Microsoft Office Suites that contains it.

If you want/need presentation software as opposed to literally needing Powerpoint, you might want to check out Openoffice.  This link will take you to a PDF file discussing migration from Powerpoint to Presentation (the open office module)  http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors/PresentationDifferences.pdf
