Preinstalled Windows formatted during Linux install
I have Dell inspiron 15 with pre-installed windows 8. I wanted to install Linux also. While installing Linux Mint 15 cinnamon 64bit, on a separate partition an error occured with grub and again I reinitialized the setup. unfortunately the whole HDD got formated. How can I get the Old Win 8 back? Guys please help...

If Mint indeed formatted the entire hard drive, you are out of luck.
