Problem installing Kodak Easy Share

For what's it's worth, I found that Kodak software was not necessary for the camera to work right.  EasyShare hijacks all your photos & constantly tries to sell you something--picture developing, uploads to web sites, etc. If you have MS Office 2003, you should use its Picture Manager instead. Or use a different photo editor. All you need for your camera to work is the driver, not the software. Windows recognized my camera and loaded the right driver without using Kodak's software.

I had Kodak Easy Share but for some reason it disappeared.  I believe you are right--I will try another program.
