Problem installing XP

Question

Trying to do a clean install of XP from Vista and I keep getting a blue screen. Im almost certain its due to the raid drivers, the problem is that I have no floppy drive on my machine, and when I press F6 to install the drivers during the setup it automatically looks for Drive A (floppy drive). I heard theres a way to emulate a floppy drive with a usb through settings in the usb, is this possible? Or is there any other way around this problem? thanks

USB floppy drive should work.

The way to emulate a floppy drive with your USB key is: 1. Insert your usb key into the system 2. Reboot and press during POST F2 - to get into the BIOS. 3. In the BIOS find the new entry 'USB Flash Drive Emulation' and change that to Floppy. I've not tried that, but I think it should work. Make sure you have the drivers on your USB key first, because I think that setting resets if you remove the USB key, in which case you need to start over. And with the previous post,  I meant for you to buy a USB floppy drive, that will work.
