Ipod is not a Dell product.
This is not the IPOD support forum.

I called Apple, who said it was a Microsoft problem. Microsoft Tech says it is a Dell problem as the Microsoft Windows  XP 2000 Professional  was on the computer when it was purchased.  At this point I have noone who will help me with this problem.   Has anyone any problems with Error 1603.

a lot of that info is posted on apple support page...i also have a problem though

ITUNES WILL NOT INSTALL on my dell laptop. it always gets to the end and says the installation was interupted....It says that you need to disable the antivirus, which I have done, and it still will not install. This IS a DELL problem, because I have talked to Apple support, and went to the Apple store and exhausted my resources, but they clearly cannot do anything because there is nothing wrong with my ipod, its something with my dell...someone PLEASE help...PLEASE

I have recently purchased a Dell Dimension 3100 Desktop.

I am having similar problems.

First off the speakers in my system would only work intermittently. After speaking with a technician he tells me the problem lies with the Ipod and it is incompatible with the pc.

I try to do over and now the i tunes will not install at all.

any suggestions would be great.
