Problem reinstalling Win2K on Dim 4100

Recently I had to replace my hard drive in my Dimension 4100 due to a bad hard drive (no boot). While installing the operating system W2K, the one that came with the computer, I noticed that the installation restarted. I went through the whole procedure of reinstalling and it happened again-restarted. I went through this process five more times and never got anything but restarts of the installation. I went ahead and upgraded top the latest BIOS hoping to solve the problem but it didn't work. Any suggestions? NOTE-I did upgrade the hard drive from a 40GB to a 80GB. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just a guess, but is this that infinite loop on after copying the setup files and formatting, it restarts and does it again? If so, after it restarts don't press the button to bott from the CD-Rom. It will instead continue past that to the actual setup.

First I want to think you for your help. I don't believe we're talking about the same thing though. When it restarts it goes back to the same place which says, "Regional Settings." Once you set what you want for your computer's name, you then input the certificate of authinticity number for W2K, then set the time along with the time zone. Next it installs the network components and after that it begins to "Install componenets." During about a third of this process is where the problem occurs-units turns itself off and back on to the "Regional Settings" screen again.

Any other suggestions? Again thanks for your help.
