Finally...success. I was able to resolve this problem by installing Dell Support 2.0 from the downloads site (R49442) over the current 2.0 version already on my system. The install created the missing SHERMAN.MSI file. I was then able to successfully uninstall it and say goodby to my little friend...lol. No more usless Dell alerts!
I had trouble uninstalling the Dell Support, too. Same problem--missing SHERMAN.MSI file or folder or whatever it is. Do I need to download the newer support version to get rid of this software? Where do I find the newer download, with the SHERMAN.MSI in it? Would appreciate any help....please.

Thanx for this info...I definitely need to try that!
I can't stand those annoying Dell alerts......they are completely useless!
I really wish Dell didn't have to load the computers up with
so much junk when you get them.
