Problem With Accessing Sites found by Google

Question

I believe that this is a simple problem.  I am using Roadrunner on a Dimension with Windows XP Home Edition.  After many months of using the Google search engine at the top of the RR home page to find and explore sites, I can't do it any more.  I can't remember any system changes but something is blocking the direction to the found sites.  I can click on them but nothing happens.  I am also using Norton Internet Security and was using it before I had this problem and something in it may be blocking my access.  My Dimension in on a home network with another computer equipped pretty much the same and it can access sites in this way fine. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. lostore

I would suspect something in Norton is causing the problem. Have you tried disabling Norton and see if it works?

BTW, I'm using the free C.A. EZ Armor software that RoadRunner provides - it works much better and is smaller and loads faster than Norton.

fireberd -   Thanks for the suggestion.  I should have tried before I questioned on the forum.  I simply disabled Norton Internet Security, it worked, changed nothing but enabled Norton IS again and everything works.  I have no idea what happened or why this fixed it but who cares.
