problem with bcmwltry.exe

Question

so whenever i start up my laptop... bcmwltry.exe keeps having an application error...whenever i try to close it, it just happens again. the message is as follows...

'The exception unknown software exception (0xe06d7363) occurred in the application at location 0x7c81eb33'

no matter what i do i can't seem to get this to go away...anyone have any ideas?

Try reinstalling the drivers and software for your wireless network card, as bcmwltry.exe is the wireless network card utility.   Steve

It's hard to help without knowing which model comptuer you have and which wireless network device you have.  If you can provide that information, perhaps someone can help. Steve

I've never had to uninstall before installing the new drivers and ulitility, but then I've never had the problem that you are having. Try uninstalling through Add/Remove programs, then try installing again.

DELL WIRELESS WLAN CARD SETUP...should it be this way. i tried shutting down, and wont let me
