Problem with hkcmd

Can anyone help? When I boot up, hkcmd fails to startup, also screen display is less clear than before. I don't know if the two problems are related. I am running XP on a dimension, 2.5 gig Pentium 4 with 256k memory.

Thanks in advance

My Computer shows  hkcmd  in three folder   \VIDEO  ,  \System32   &  \i386
so you could try a Windows Repair from boot of XP CD. (not the 1st R for Recovery Console)
---------------
As a memeber has said it is not a part of Windows but in the DELL installed \i386 Folder so might be installed by Video driver.

It's not part of Windows, so that won't work. This might explain: http://www.reger24.de/prozesse/hkcmd.exe.php

With your link and a bit of crash learning, have been able to find driver update for the display adapter from intel.

This appears to have solved the problem.

Many Thanks. :)
