Get rid of your screen saver.  Years ago they were needed to prevent burn-in.  Now-a-days, screen savers are merely entertainment and a resource waster.

I run xp screen saver which was ok before and t4 should not be the problem.

Depending on where you got the screen saver, it may be hiding malicious programs and could be the problem.

It's the original Ms screensaver in XP. I run the clock and the problem started only some time back. If it's a S/W bug is there any chance to fix it?? Thx.
