Problem with Vista recovery disk.

Question

I have a problem with reseting and reinstalling Vista on my computer. When I try to do the setup from the CD, a window pops up and asks for my administrative password which I forgot. Now I can't go into my administrative account or download anything without a window asking for the password as a permission. What should I do? I don't want to buy anything.

I did set a password, but i forgot what it was.

If you never set a password, the default password is blank. Just press Enter when asked for the administrative password. This password is not related to your Logon or Windows password.
