Problem XPS 420 after starting up windows
Hello,
After starting up windows XP my computer gets a blue screen that it has to shutdown to prevent damage.
Stop: 0x0000008E (0XC0000005, 0X897528EC, 0XBACFB970, 0X00000000)
Adress 897528EC base at 89752000, Datestamp 4a351d6a
The blue screen gives me 3 possible problems
1. Not enough Hard disc space
2. Problem with a driver
3. Bios settings
After starting up again, I get the blue screen again.
If I start up in safe mode or the last good configuration everything is working. But if I start the desktop normally again, the same blue screen appears.
What can I do about this problem.
Regards,
Leon

Thanks Dave
I installed the new AVG 8.5 and a day after that I see at a system restore point that a unsigned driver was installed. After that day the problems started.
I go back to the day before I installed the new AVG and now everything is working properly. I think the problem is solved thanks
Regards Leon

did you make any changes to your sytem or download and install any driver updates or windows updates?
Try using the System restore to restore your computer to a day or time just before you started experiencing this error
