I cannot remove programs in add/remove programs and I also cannot restore on windows xp?? Help

To correct the restore problem (and you will lose all your restore points) disable system restore (Start|Control Panel|System|System Restore tab) and reboot your computer. Return to the System Restore tab and enable Restore again. The system should begin to create valid restore points again. (You can check by creating a manual restore point then trying to restore to it.

Do you receive any error message when you attempt to uninstall a program using Add/Remove?

I think my problem is solved, I was having errors with windows installer. It had to do with itunes. I got some good fixes from another post and everything seems ok now. Thanks
