Quickset and Windows 7 Headache!
Can someone please tell me which Quickset Program works on an XPS 720 H2C upgraded to Windows 7 32bit? Exact version number and date please.
I've tried about 8 of them and I cant get any of them to work. None of the Windows 7 32bit programs I can find are compatable with my system and wont install. The ones that do install dont' work.
Thank you very much. I'm ready to pull my hair out!

NeilAH,
Try going to Drivers & Downloads, enter your service tag number. Download the Vista drivers. Try installing the Dell QuickSet drivers in the compatibility mode.
Right click on the drivers file, left click properties, left click compatibility. Change the compatibility to Vista. Then right click on the drivers, left click run as administrator.

k97aw01,
If you installed Windows 7, did you install the desktop/notebook utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order If you cannot find Windows 7 drivers, then try the Vista 32-bit (or XP) drivers for Windows 7 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit (or XP) drivers for Windows 7 64-bit and install them in the Compatibility mode
Take care,
Rick
