Quickset message at every start-up

All of a sudden a few weeks ago boxes started popping up whenever I start my laptop saying: "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Inert the 'QuickSet' disk and click OK." There's also another box that has "Please wait while Window configures QuickSet".

No disks came with the laptop and I searched this forum for other answers to this problem leading me to a dead-end because Quickset appeared nowhere in the list of programmes specified for my laptop on the dell support site.

I don't understand why this started happening either. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
