Random BSOD ONLY when the computer was idle or under light load
I have suffered from BSOD since I bought used DELL laptop that has i5-7200U CPU long time ago (maybe 2 years or more), it happen only when the computer in idle or under light cpu load, but I read in some post in other website said that disabling C-State in BIOS fix these kind of problems (like restarts or freezes) when idle and low usage
so I did disable c-states control since few days and no BSOD until now! why C-State case BSOD?

BSOD Driver_Power_State_Failure
is a problem with windows in general.

Dell cannot answer this. Its a microsoft problem.

I have the same problem - when idle I get random BSoD. What I did for trouble shooting ->
First I ran all hardware diagnostics -> no errors
I then ran the performance monitor from task manager and resource monitor over night with no BSoD
I then loaded Ubuntu and ran that for 2 straight days with no crash.
I'm getting there. Loaded windows. I disabled all of the DELL services in msconfig, rebooted and now my DELL 3567 has been running straight none stop AT IDLE for 2 days.
You will have to make your own conclusion from my findings.
