re-installing internet ex;lorer

according to microsoft, with win xpsp2, to "reinstall internet explorer", their instructions are to reinstall win xpsp2, however, maybe there is another way to do it..

you could try running "sfc /scannow" first, and see if that helps.. to run "sfc /scannow", go to start/run and type "sfc /scannow" (minus quotation marks)..
