Re-installing Win XP Pro without CD????

Question

Hi, I ordered a new Dell Dimension 9200 last month. I got the pc, but I did not get the Windows-CD with it. So, in future if I have to re-install my xp, I will not be able to do it without a CD... I read something about re-installing from a second partition, but if my harddisk crashes, what do I have to do in this case?!? I think its an unbounded cheek from Dell not to deliver the Win-CD although the customer has paid for it!!! Can you please help me what to do? thank you lfshaker

Contact Dell support through one of the methods in the FAQ and they should be able to get the media out to you. We recently changed our policy and will be shipping media on all systems going forward.
