Receive "Error 1606 Could not access network location %USERPROFILE%\Recent\

If you are familiar with editing the registry, this appears to be the fix. Would guess there's no other way to fix this.

Amazing !  I've searched Microsoft's knowledge base numerous times using keywords "Error 1606", "install" and "software", and paid Microsoft Online support for assistance, and neither resulted in directing me to this kb article.

Finally got around to trying the suggested fix, it did not correct the problem.  Anyone have another idea - I really don't want to have to do a reinstall of Windows.
