Recorded TV Programs

Question

A friend of mine was trying to burn his recorded TV programs onto a DVD to watch on his TV, but he couldn't find where the shows are stored. Does anyone know?

On my system they are at c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Recorded TV.

Okay, so he found the TV programs. Now he wants a free way to burn them onto DVDs to play in his regular DVD player.
