recovery software

sup everyone i recently had reset my computer to threw the cd that comes with the computer. i didnt use the recovery software that already installed . and now i am trying to do it threw the dell recovery software and its not on my computer . is there a way to download it?or how can i get it?

If you reformatted the hard drive when you reinstalled Windows from the CD, you deleted the PCRestore partition and it can't be recovered.

If you didn't reformat and delete the Restore partition, reboot and press Ctrl-F11 to access PC Restore on an XP system.  If the partition is there but won't work, read this for info to attemp recovery of it's function:

If this is a Vista system, reboot and press F8; select the option from the list.
