I was reinstalling my operating system (XP Home) and during the installation the computer restarts, but on the last restart I got the Windows XP loading logo, and then instead of loading up set-up (or normally I would get the opportunity to click on my username and sign in) I just get a black screen with a mouse pointer (which I can move) then an eggtimer is added. Then the computer restarts and the whole process of windows loading logo, mouse pointer, restart, is repeated over and over and I can’t get any further.

What shall I do?
