Remote Desktop Connection to XP?

Is a Vista Ultimate Remote Desktop connection possible to Windows XP Pro?  I am able to remote dedsktop connect to the XP Pro machine from another XP Pro, but not from a E1705 Vista Ultimate laptop.

Both machines are on the same home network, remote desktop connection is enabled on the XP.  The firewall on the XP allows remote desktop connections.

I'm using the same Computer Name, User name, and password that works from XP, but not from Vista.  The connection attempt times out.

I can access shares on the XP machine from Vista, so I know it's not the LAN.

I've even tried installing MS Remote Desktop Connection update for XP: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925876  referenced here:

Anyone get remote desktop connection to XP to work?

Replying to my own post.

I found that the problem was that I didn't have Remote Desktop properties, "Allow connections from computers running..." checked on my client Vista computer.  I assumed that it only needed to be checked on the host computer.
