removaing programme

Question

Hi i am trying to uninstall Napster music programme from my computer but when clicking on Add/remove programmes it says you are trying to install an older version to which is already installed on your pc. Basically it will not let me uninstall, is there another way or a way to fix this problem?? Help ??

there is a delete option but i believe this wont completely remove it?  I am very confused why it won't delte, i reckong it might be a virus?

Hi, I am not familiar with napster but some programs can be uninstalled in -start -all programs -highlight napster and see if there is a uninstall feature there.     Dell Dimension 2350 ,2gig p4,768mb ram, 60gb hardrive, sp2,windows xp home,Spyware blaster,Norton av,zone alarm,adaware,spybot sd, Microsoft anti spyware,Maxtor Onetouch11,200gig external hard drive.

Whenever I uninstall a program I always use the uninstaller in all programs,I have read that it is usually more efficient at removing all of the program. This is assuming there is a uninstaller ,not all programs have one here.
