Rut,
Ignore that. Somehow it submitted before I could finish. I edited the post.

John,
Whatchamean, "Is"?
Is there a preference, or options tab that maybe you could disable the splash screen. I looked to see if I could download the manual. Sorry I can not assist you any further.

You can try this: (maybe it will, or won't work)
Find the shortcut to the program in the startup folder. Right click on the shortcut and choose "properties".
Click on the "shortcut" tab. Look for "Target" below is what I used to stop the splash screen in "Zone alarm" :
Target: (example)
"C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zonealarm.exe" -nosplash
Notice where I put -nosplash.
Try that, and see if that works. Good luck!!!
