resource cd
I loaded win98 on my lattitude, but I need the resource cd to load the drivers, how do I purchase one. I've look at the site!

The driver on the CD is only current at the time when the CD was created or when you computer was manufactured.
Instead of creating a new CD everytime a driver is updated, they are usually placed online for other users to download as well, so if you wish to install using the latest driver, the web is where you should look.
There is a good reason for using the Resource CD - the drivers should be the same as when your machine left the factory, thus tested by Dell to ensure they work with your hardware.
In any case, not everything comes on the Resource CD, so you may need to download anyway.

Having been in the PC game before there was a “PC”, I am pretty stable as far as software… I have NO games except what was on the Windows CD. Software ranges from a $50 cross stitch program to a $12,000 CAD/CAM program. Now if I was only smart enough to figure out how to use either of them…
