Restart restore problem
When I restart my computer everything on my desktop and my favorites changes in that I lose everything from the past two weeks. It's like it restores back to two weeks ago and I lose everything new. Help!

This occurs on every reboot? List all the software and/or hardware changes made to the system BEFORE this issue arose. List all the troubleshooting steps you have taken.

Everytime I reboot starting last week.
History
About two months ago the computer had a virus - it made everything unaccessible on the desktop, disabled icons and programs, so everytime I rebooted it I would use the restore option to go back a few days.
Eventually the restore option didn't work anymore so we wiped the computer clean and reinstalled the operating system. This solved the problem up until a week and a half ago.

If you reinstalled without formatting the drive the virus will still be there.
