Restore Desktop Icon

Question

My daughter was using my computer and put something in the recycle bin and instead of empting ow do I restore the Icon back on the bin she deleted the recycle bin icon from my desktop screen, how do I restore the Icon back on my desktop? I am using Microsoft Vista Kayle

Double click on the recycle bin, right click on the item you want to restore, and click restore

Thank you for the info, but it's the Recycle Bin Icon on the desktop that is missing, that I would like to restore, you like the waste basket or trash can icon. that is what I meant.

Ok, do this,

Right-click on your desktop and choose Personalize

Click on the Change Desktop Icons link in the upper left hand corner

In the Desktop Icons Settings window, check the Recycle Bin box and click OK
