Restoring to Original State

Question

I want to restore my laptop back to it's orginal state when I first purchased it. No added software just the way it was when it came out of the box. Anyone know how to do that?

If your system came with the Dell PC Restore function (included in all Dell PC's with XP made after 7/2004), your manual should include instructions on how to use it.

If you don't have your manual, you can download it by clicking the "manuals" link on the left of the page. There's additional information on the PC Restore function here (XP only):
