Root Directory for Identities

Hi,

Does anyone know where the root directory containing the email Identity data is located and what is called?

For example, in Windows 98/2000/ME the data files containing all one's email folders with all saved data is at : C:/windows/Application Data/Identities/{B3f..................}, inside this folder there will be an Outlook Express folder containing all the email data files.

I cannot find the same location on XP, so any idea?

Thanks

I also have another identities folder at

C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities

that contains the Outlook Express files.

Local settings folder is hidden, so set show hidden files and folders in Tools, folder options, view tab, to see it.

That's great, but .... /application Data/Identities does not exist in that pass and the pass where it exists does not contains any other directories, it's empty no identities!

Mine is even longer - for email boxes:
My Computer
C
Windows
Application Data
Mozilla
Profiles
My Name DSL Account
12 Characters (numbers & letters)
Mail
Mail.My Internet Provider AND local folders

I have Netscape 7/Mozilla and was wondering if anyone on Internet Explorer had the following issue. When I delete email, it goes into trash. When I delete trash I found out it goes through this root directly and still saves all sent mail, inbox, trash, etc. I used to open these folders with WordPad, select all and clear on the old computer. With this new Dell I want to be able to do things correctly. It amasses disk space quickly if it doesn't get deleted regularly. I don't think Netscape ever got back to me on this. I never knew mail gets saved in the hard drive. Does IE have this problem? Thanks for any comments in advance.
