roxio creator has stopped working, please help

hello everybody

i have a brand new dell inspiron 1501. Roxio creator & My DVD software worked for some days and now i am getting the message "roxio creator has stopped working". when i am opting for the solution online, nothing happens. The fault details are

Well, the first thing I would do is uninstall Roxio(everything) and reinstall it, you do have the Roxio disc???? If not, contact Support and request the Roxio disc. I would then contact support and have them correct this problem. Actually, I would contact Support first.......your call though. Good luck!

Is this Roxio Media Creator 9 DE? If so when I typed in my service tags I saw two patches under Vista for this one particular program. See if you can get these patches as well.

dell just released new patch for this problem w/vista and roxio.drivers and downloads page on dell site.

Well IMO, The very best choice is to completely Uninstall any Roxio Product. Then Install some good CD/DVD burning software such as Nero Burning Rom by Ahead. Or anything else not made by Roxio.   pcgeek11

by un-installing roxio My DVD and roxio drag to disc, the roxio creater works nicely with vista.   hope it will help as it worked for me.
