There's probably a corrupt file in the Roxio - try uninstalling through Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and then reinstall.
If it persists,
Roxio suggests
(i)Try burning at a lower speed.
(ii) Don't run any other programs when running Roxio
(iii)If you've uprgaded to IE 7,go back to IE6
(iv) if installed any other programs immediately before receiving the message the first time, remove those programs and reinstall one by one testing Roxio each time.
Another site says that if you have Nero as well as Roxio, one of them has got to go.
I have the same error message myself. As best as I can tell it started occuring after I installed ie 7, but then again, that was one of the first things I installed when I got my computer (E520) yesterday (11/06/06). The only time I get the error is when I close the program. Time to search the Roxio message boards, if they have one....
It took a few different tech support reps but the error was finally fixed. They had me restore Windows to the original boot up point and I then downloaded Internet Explorer 7 again and all the other Microsoft updates and I haven't gotten that error again.
Must've been a freak thing or it was related somehow to Windows Media Player 11 because I haven't upgraded my Media Player again.
Sounds to me like Dell or Roxio need to put out a patch pretty soon. I have no plans to roll back, but I use other applications for CD/DVD more than Roxio.
If I'm not mistaken, when you uninstall WMP11, the previous version (WMP10) will automatically be rolled back to. I'm not sure mif there's been a patch to fix this problem, but for now, I am sticking with WMP Version 10.
Add me to the growing list of
Roxio Mediahub.exe Run Time Error R6025 - pure virtual function call message when I terminate Roxio. Installed my XPS 410 a couple of weeks ago, tested the DVD/CD R-W drive with CD-Rs successfully, and no error message because I was using DLA Windows Explorer. Then switched to Roxio because of problems trying to format a CD-R when using DLA Windows Explorer (Retry / Insert Disk message loop), and just noticed the Roxio Mediahub.exe Run Time error every time I close Roxio.
I do have Windows Media Player 11, can uninstall, but is there an easy way to install WMP 10 without completely restoring the system and reinstalling all my applications, favorites, e-mails, address book and data?
I also was told by Dell Premium Support that my service agreement did not include software, and Dell couldn't help me, even though Roxio is Dell LE provided.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Roxio and the error still happens - weird.
I'll have to see if it affects burning at all.
Thanks!
