Run a DLL as an App

I just recently started getting an error message everytime I launch windowsXP, "Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close."  I started getting this after the unsuccessful attempt to install a game that came bundled with my new Creative sound card.  I have tried re-installing the rundll32.exe from my install CD, no help.  Any ideas?

If you can get to your desktop, try doing a System Restore to a date before you installed that game. You shouldn't lose any personal files, but software (including any windows updates) installed after that date will have to be reinstalled.

Otherwise go to the boot menu before Windows tries to load and try use Last Known Good"
