Rundll32 error on boot-up

Since last week, every time I boot up my Dell Latitude Laptop(cpx 750) I get a windows error message which says:

"Rundll32

This program as performed an illegal operation and will shut down.

If the problem persists, contact the program vendor"

I get following options:

1. Close: if i click close the system freezes up

2. When I click the Error Details tab, I get the following information

"RUNDLL32 caused an invalid page fault in
module MSG121.CPY.DLL at 017f:10017534.

If I just reposition the error message window, I can continue working for some time until the system freezes up and I have to re-boot manually.

Can someone please help me fix this problem. Your help will be highly appreciated.

This error can be thrown by a spyware program that has managed to become installed on your computer.  See if the information found here could apply to you:

http://www.pchell.com/support/look2me.shtml

It's quite possible that this is not the only malfunction to cause the error but at least, the above should be checked out and eliminated.

You really need to post this in the Virus Information and Removal forum as Navin has told you in his message above.  The experts in analyzing HijackThis logs regularly visit that forum.
