I think it has something to do with my realtek audio manager by dell. Each time i try to open it, it closes (dosent open at all). This messages comes up everytime i start my computer.
I am running Windows 7 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630 CPU @ 2.00GHz. 6 GB RAM. 64 bit operating system. I have restored my computer back to the factory state and this problem is still occuring..
Always include the version of Windows in your posts.
Try running a System Restore to last date available before the problem started. If that doesn't work, you may need to uninstall RealTek, reboot and reinstall a fresh download from Dell.
I hope all your personal files were backed up before you did a "factory restore"! And have you installed the Win7 service pack and all other Microsoft updates again?
It's very odd that it's doing the same thing if you went all the way back to the factory state. Have you scanned thorughly for malware recently?
According to the error message you posted, the faulting module is dbacsu.dll which is part of a Creative Labs audio product, not RealTek. So that's what you should look at, assuming you don't have malware.
Yes, i have everything backed up on a DL-Disc. I just used Eusing free registry cleaner it got rid of the dll error but the Realtek HD audio manager still does not open.
i don know if u r still there, but i am facing similar problem since i restored my system to factory setting. ihave tried installing and reinstall the driver N number of times but some devine power is not allowing me to enjoy the music frtom my so called stupid "Dell L 502 X" XPS model . my service tag no. is:<ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy> . Reinstalling doesnt help. Give some practically usefull solution.
Also before I close i did the following: installed realtek HD audi driver from dell website by running it as administrator and after that installed quickset 64. did many times doesnt help.

Then uninstall Realtek in Add/Remove Programs control panel. Reboot and install a fresh download of it from Dell's support site.
BTW: A similar rundll32 issue has been reported with Lexmark printers. So if you have one of those...
