Running Programs

I would like to know how to display the programs or files that are running when your computer is turned on.  I need to turn off a program called TrueVector and can't remember how to get there to do it.

IF ZA is running, you will find that you cannot stop TrueVector service directly, either in services or in taskmanager (vsmon.exe). To turn it off, right click the Zone Alarm icon in the system tray, click shut down Zone ALarm. That will stop it until you reboot.

Alternatively, if you don't want it to start on reboot, in Zone Alarm control panel, overview, preferences tab, uncheck the box load Zone Alarm at startup. Then shut down Zone Alarm. Then reboot.

Thank you so much.  I am updating ZoneAlarm and before it can install the update, it said I muct stop TrueVector.  I can maybe disable ZoneAlarms until the installation is complete!

Click control panel, administrative tools/services.   Scroll down to True Vector and disable it.  This is part of Zone Alarm, so if you disable it, ZA will  no longer be protecting your system.   Im fairly sure you cannot just stop it in the start up folder, you would have to disable Zone Alarm altogether.  Kip
