Abnormal program termination.
I get a screen that says: Program:C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\Window Word.exe.

I can see what was sent to me but I can not do anything with it.

Sure hope you can help me, because I need to use the info that was sent me.

The only thing I can think of is that you have a different MS office software than the sender, and if thats the case you will not be able to open it.Maybe someone else will chime in with an idea. Tom

It might help if we knew what type of file you are trying to open.

Do you have MS word installed on your computer?

I just opened up the MS word and see the list of files that have been recovered.  But when I try to either save them or open them, I get a message that Word can not open them.

I'm running out of suggestions.Maybe MS word is corrupt, could be virus related, but I doubt it.

Try open office you should be able to open it with program.

You're using web mail and am not familiar with this program.
