Runtime Error

Recently agreed to let Dell download new version of Support Center.  Ever since that I receive the message:

"Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library"  at the top of the window.  After that it states that, "C:\Program Files\Dell Support Center|bin|sprtcmd.exe  'Application cannot run using the active version of MS.NET Runtime.'"

It's annoying because it comes up everytime I boot the computer even though I can exit the window and nothing else seems to be affected.  Is there any downside to this or is there something I should be doing to correct this?  Perhaps there is an updated download somewhere which will upgrade the version of MS.NET Runtime?
