Safe to delete?

I reinstalled windows xp , after reinstalling several programs, ect, I have a temp folder under Documents and Settings, size 29.8MB, it's full of  xml files, mtx files, setup files,  configuration files, I usually clean temp files, but unsure about this folder of files, does anyone know if it's safe or not,
Thanks for any info.

Just move the folder to another directory for awhile and see what happens. Wait a few days and if by then your computer doesn't explode or grow legs or something I reckon it's safe to delete. ;)

Temp folders usually are safe to delete I think though. But play it safe and move it to another directory and wait a few days. If XP or any programs don't complain then it should be safe to delete.

Good Advice, but one step further.  Some programs will search "globally" (e.g. any location on the hard drive) for a needed file.  It the folder was just moved to a different location, and a program needs it and searches "globally" it will still find it.

No problem! Just RAR or Zip (or compress it whichever way u like) the folder... I am sure most programs won't search within compressed archives. Also, u can just move the folder to the Recycle Bin, that should work too. Give it a shot.
