WHEN EXUCUTED THE FILES ARE TRANSFERED ON THE FLOPPY

BUT THERE NO " TXTSETUP.OEM "

>> WHERE CAN I FIND THIS " TXTSETUP.OEM "FILE ???? >> THANK YOU

MY SITUATION :

RE-INSTALLING A NEW WINDOWS-XP ON A DELL PRECISION 380

I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE SATA CONTROLER ON THE DELL WEBSITE

TO BE USED WHEN PRESING F6 AT THE BEGENING OF TH WINXP INSTALLATION

DELL FTP PROVIDE A DRIVER FOR SATA CONTROLER MAXTOR 80GB

BUT = TXTSETUP.OEM IS NOT IN THE DOWNLOAD !!!???

The download you mentioned appears to me to be a firmware update for the hard drive.      I would suggest you try posting your problem over in the Precision Workstation - RAID forum.  That would be a better venue in which to connect with other Precision owners who are familiar with re-installing XP on your system.  You can click here for a direct link to that forum.

Thank you Majestic, you're right. So simple but excellent answer really helpfull. The other drivers for Raid or AHCI Sata controler were in another download. But unfortunatly it doesn't work... If you have any idea... see you in the Precision Workstation - RAID forum even if I don't want any Raid on this system ! Thanks one more time. Webatom.
