saving images from e-mail
**learning my way around my computer, I discovered a page? folder? that had every image that ever crossed through my e-mail. I know I didn’t save half the stuff myself. anyway, it’s disappeared. or at least I can’t find it again, having gone through every folder in my computer.
**so, questions 1 and 2: how was this generated? and how can it be re-established?
**question 3: is there a way to deliberately save an image from the e-mail that will preserve the image with it’s “external” captions?
I do know several ways to save images from e-mail , deliberately. BUT:
b) when i copy and paste, as a new document, the words come, but not the image, which defeats the purpose.
c) and when I “save as,” from the-email itself, it is listed as an MHTML and shows up in My Pictures with the page of e-mail that contained it.
thank any and all of you for help/information you can give me…

Jesse, this is most embarassing. having a "senior" episode.
a few days ago you sent me the link which links me to google for saving windows from e-mail.
i thought i remembered also a p.s. that directly gave me some information. or directed me to another board, not other software>software. and i cannot find it, now. suggestions as to "other" boards, or other forums?
if it was not you, obviously, it was someone else. have checked my other postings, and cannot find it.
i'd be really happy for some help. chanita

i just remembered more about the post i am looking for --
it gave me directions to someplace that would pick up images, let me retrieve images along with their attached script, and let me retrieve moving images.
does that ring any bells? chanita
