"Scan Your PC for Problems" doesn't work

My new Vista-equipped XPS 410 came with a link on the desktop saying "your xps support experience begins here."  I click on it and get a screen containing a link called " Scan Your PC for Problems."  But when I click on it, I get "We're Sorry This application requires Internet Explorer 6 or above running on Microsoft Windows XP operating system. We apologize for any inconvenience. Additional configurations may be supported in the future based on demand. "

Obviously this is a bug of some kind, as Dell wouldn't put a liik on my Vista pc that took me directly to a tool that didn't work on Vista.  So how do I get to the tool that scan's my pc for problems?

I was using ie7 when I got the error msg, but it wasn't the default.  So I changed my default to ie7 and now I don't get the msg, it just takes me straight to a "technical support" page.  No scan for problems in sight. So am still looking for that scan.

It might not work with Vista. Dell Support 3.2.1 needed an update for Vista, I don't know if there is one.

That was one of the things the so called support tech told me to do, only to find out that it is for XP not Vista!   Their own techs don't even know what to do!
