Script error at start up

I have an XPS desktop with windows 7 which I installed 3 days ago.

After install everything was fine. From the next day each time I start the system and after windows loads I get a message saying : script error on this page ...... and it indicates a file with" dell support" in it.

There seems to be no further consequence, but I am just curious since it comes back every time I start up.

Note also that between the first day and the following days a lot of windows updates got installed automatically on my system

Just go to Programs and Features and remove "Dell Support Center".   It isn't a necessary program, and many just leave it off, but you can download and reinstall it -  the latest version here:

Thanks.

I removed as you said the Dell support center. I tried to reinstall it, but this failed. I got an error saying something like that the program did not have the rights to access a directory in system(x.86). Note that I am logged in as administrator. I must admit that I am new to windows 7. I worked over fourty years in IT but I still get surprises.

Any hint on that?

Sorrry please ignore.

After posting the previous reply I tried again just for fun to install Dell support center again and that time it worked !!! (I had tried several times before)

The mystiyrious world of windows still exists.

Thanks again anyway.
